MAYDAY
MAYDAY has chosen to be a place of exchange and reflection for the artists working with Mélanie Demers. Their personalities are both dazzling and eclectic, and they contribute to the maturation of the work, which is always a collective process. The physicality, rhythm and images used in the choreographies are characteristic elements of MAYDAY’s works, which find their meaning when encountering with the public. Since its creation in 2007, the company develops international collaborations and has been presented in America, Europe, Asia and Africa. In 2015, its creation WOULD won the CALQ Prize for best choreography as part of the Prix de la danse de Montréal.

Claude Cormier
Cormier’s internationally recognized practice extends far beyond conventional landscape design to forge bridges between urban design, public art, and architecture. His landscapes celebrate the artificial and surreptitiously alter reality. His work is distinguished for its inventiveness and its tenacious optimism in the power of design. As director of his firm, Claude Cormier et associés, he has received over 80 national and international awards as well as numerous recognitions for an exceptional body of work and significant contribution to the         development of landscape architecture and urban design in Canada and beyond.
